Introduction

Global Health Care Center was established with the goal to spread excellent medical services to the world beyond Korea in August 2012. Since then, we have provided customized ONE STOP service for the Global Health Care patients together with devoted doctors, nurses, translators, and coodinators who are present at service all the time. Our ONE STOP service starts from online consultation before foreign patients enter Korea, followed by pick-up service from airport, interpretation service, and continuous follow-ups.

At the beginning, we used to provide medical service to patients in Uzbekistan, China, and Vietnam. In 2013, we expanded our target countries to Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, Mongolia, and Vietnam with a complete service system after organizing internal system. In May 2013, we held the Global Health Care symposium 'Next Generation of Functional Neurotherapy' that prestigious medical staff from around the world visited. The event was the opportunity for us to let the world know about Incheon St.Mary’s Hospital. In August of the same year, we conducted a brain cancer craniotomy and epilepsy surgery for 17-year-old male Uzbekistan with the support of the Incheon Medical Tourism Foundation's ICC. From 2013 up to now, we have conducted ‘training programs’ for foreign doctors from Uzbekistan, China, Thailand, etc., and guided them to understand our excellent medical technology.

Since its establishment, Incheon St. Mary’s Hospital has actively exchanged academic programs and doctoral trainings consistently with many overseas hospitals. Also, we have attracted Global Health Care patients successfully and treated a variety of serious diseases such as brain tumors, lung cancers, colon cancers, gastric cancers, and pancreatic cancers, through which we have upgraded the status of The Catholic University of Korea, Incheon ST. Mary’s Hospital.

Following the vision of The Catholic University of Korea, Incheon ST. Mary’s Hospital, all the staff of the Global Health Care medical center work hard to help those who suffer from diseases with Christ's love with advanced medical care and warm heart.
